RM Supplies was formed by Willie Robertson and Tom Muir in the 1950’s. The Company began trading in the Kirkcaldy area and moved its operations to the Inverkeithing site in the 1980’s adding the Dundee operation in the 1990’s.

Today the company is one of Scotland's largest independent scrap processors and exporters and our products are sent all over the globe. This material is exported from our own dock facilities at Inverkeithing and by container as required.

The facility at Inverkeithing is also one of the largest purpose built ship breaking facilities in Europe and when appropriate is still used for this activity.

At RM Supplies, we are constantly striving to stay one of the major exporters of scrap metal in the United Kingdom. To do this we are always looking for more sources of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Sell

We process a large amount of metal every day and we sell a large variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. RM Supplies are able to sell such a large variety of metals because of our sophisticated separation processes. Using machinery such as our fragmentiser, we are able to separate our scrap metal down to its most basic components, thus providing all of our customers with high grade product.
